A3, a boutique advertising agency located in suburban Philadelphia, is seeking a qualified candidate to join their team as a Media Analyst. The Media Analyst will work integrally with media and account teams to support data analysis and performance tracking for the advancement of client business. The analyst will employ various analytical methodologies to reach client objectives. Analyst will review existing platforms and recommend additional programs and systems needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze campaign performance and research results using a variety of numerical tools such as Strata, Comscore, Adobe Media Metrics, etc.
  • Mine campaign data to produce buying optimization strategies
  • Uses data analysis to optimize media buying strategies across multiple advertising media channels throughout the course of active campaigns for constant improvement
  • Conduct effective and comprehensive information searches as needed from research tools that support a client-focused approach to multi-screen product offerings for appropriate client
  • Gather data on competitors; analyzes and compares such competitive factors utilizing sales research tools, resources & methodology such as Strata, Kantar, Polk and ComScore
  • Perform and forecasts based on seasonality, trend, and cyclicality
  • Analyze campaign performance and research results using a variety of numerical and IT tools
  • Keep up to date with new and developing platforms, emerging trends and strategies within the digital space

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent 2-5 years relevant practical experience in analyzing data and generating insight to improve service delivery for an industry
  • Solid experience working with audience measurement tools (Nielsen, Comscore, Strata, etc. and syndicated data (Scarborough, Experian, Polk, Kantar, etc.)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in accurately compiling and analyzing large amounts of qualitative and quantitative information/data using appropriate software from all research tools
  • Fundamental understanding of media measurement and research
  • Researches market conditions specific to area of focus to determine potential sales of a product and provides research on behalf of the customer
  • Identify and address complex issues (conflicting data, client objections, industry trends, etc.) and offers solution to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to select research methods appropriate to pre-defined client criteria
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office Excel and PowerPoint
